Making My First Tulips

I have just had a play with making my first tulips…inspired by Sarah Fiekle in her blog,  The Last Piece.

There is a tutorial there called Night Garden.

I’m sure my tulips will improve with practice.

They are fun and fiddly for starters and I am not quite sure yet how to line things up..but one has to start somewhere.

I love this range of fabric from In The Beginning.

Teacups in Attic Window is Finished

So here it is…the finished Teacups in Attic Window.

I love the deliciousness of the fabrics and the thought of tea and tasty delights with fine china.

Not much else to say really.

What do you think of??  Please post a comment.

Alice In Wonderland Again: “Anna’s Alice Quilt”

There is a bit of a theme continuing here as I posted off another Alice in Wonderland Quilt…this time to  my neice Anna…so it has been named "Anna’s Alice Quilt".  I have been much more bold this time with the backing…it is in a rich blue.  The fabric for the back is from Troy Corporation : Riverwoods Collection…gerta collection by Marcia Derse for mdd studio.

The binding is from the Adelaide Collection inspired by Michelle Hill.  I have just seen the news from Clever Hands in Taupo that Michelle Hill  will be visiting New Zealand next year and running workshops.

Getting back to the front of the quilt…the main Alice fabric is Trefle, created by Kokka, Made in Japan.  A little Liberty of London has been worked in, and few other pieces of favourite fabrics.

I have some pictures coming…

Cotton Facecloths for Chiropractic Tables

I had a bit of fun making this video…Enjoy and Share.

Here’tis.

Facecloths For Chiropractic Tables

Ahh, Such satisfaction

in posting off a box of bright and fun facecloths

for happy clients of a Network Care Chiropractor.

.

Clients really enjoy the fun of selecting their favourite color and theme of the moment to use for their adjustment/entrainment during their visit to the Chiropractor.

No more sticky paper towels on your face!  If you think this is a good idea, and your Chiropractor or therapist of any sort for that matter hasn’t made the move to more eco-friendly cotton facecloths…let alone comfy and fun….please share this post with them.

Some Practice members even buy their own facecloth, have it in their handbags, and bring it to their session…just like your own yoga mat for your yoga class!

Enjoy.
