Hard to believe a whole month has gone by so quickly. I have been over to Melbourne and as far a quilting adventures go..I was able to visit Patchwork on Central Park and select a small and yummy stash for future projects. A little bit of Liberty of London, and some gorgeous Lecien fabric.
Two days before my stay in Melbourne finished I came down with a nasty ‘Fluey thing, struggled home and then took two weeks to recover. So that’s where the time has gone! Last week I did recover enough to finish off an "Alice" quilt for my niece in Melbourne. It is in transit, she knows it’s coming, but I don’t want to post photos until she has it. Then I will do so.
At present I am working on a small order of facecloths for a chiropractic practice. Bright, fun, cotton facecloths add to patient/practice member fun and comfort as they get to select their choice of color and pattern for their session. NO more paper sticking to faces, or wasteful paper use. A fresh cotton facecloth per person. That will keep me busy for a few days. Satisfying as the pile of bright colored facecloths start to stack up. The most fun part is the selection process!
So check in soon to see the "Alice’ Quilt photos, and maybe a look at the facecloths.
